Parish Hall
A large, well-lit room with a raised stage at one end. Perfect for big family parties, banquets, and small performances! Monday - Friday 4pm: $65/hr Friday 4pm - Sunday: $90/hr Additional Information: - Add $20/hr to include use of the parish-hall kitchen. - For an additional flat fee of $50, the church can set up and take down tables and chairs. - The parish hall is 1,548 sq ft and can comfortably hold 75 people. - This room has a sound system that renters may use upon request. Please note that technical support might not be available during your event. - Use of the parish hall piano may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please inquire. - You may add your own decorations to this room using masking tape. - Use of Guest WiFi is included for your event. Higher-speed WiFi may be available if needed for streaming. - The Parish Hall can be made wheelchair-accessible upon request, via the sanctuary's ramp in our Chapel Street driveway. Undercroft
Even larger than the parish hall! Our open basement space below the sanctuary, complete with a welcoming mural and newly renovated wooden floor -- perfect for dancing. The room is adjacent to a commercial kitchen, making it great for banquets, music nights, parties, and other events. Monday - Friday 4pm: $75/hr Friday 4pm - Sunday: $110/hr (This room can also be used in the afternoons and/or evenings as a long-term dance studio, yoga studio, or even office space -- please inquire to negotiate ongoing needs.) Additional Information: - Add $35/hr to include use of the undercroft's commercial kitchen. - For an additional flat fee of $50, the church can set up and take down tables and chairs. - You may add your own decorations to this room using masking tape. - This room has a sound system that renters may use upon request. Please note that technical support might not be available during your event. - Use of Guest WiFi is included for your event. Higher-speed WiFi may be available if needed for streaming. - The undercroft is accessible via the church's rear entrance off Chapel Street. Sanctuary
A holy space, perfect for concerts and non-profit forums. There are no permanent pews in our sanctuary; instead we use movable chairs and pews on casters, allowing for flexible seating arrangements. Monday - Friday 4pm: $100/hr Friday 4pm - Sunday: $150/hr Additional Information: - Not available on Sundays before 1pm. - For an additional flat fee of $50, the church can set up and take down tables and chairs. - Can comfortably hold 150 - Use of the Sanctuary piano may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please inquire. - This room has a sound system that renters may use upon request. Please note that technical support might not be available during your event. - Use of Guest WiFi is included for your event. Higher-speed WiFi may be available if needed for streaming. - The sanctuary is accessible via a ramp in our Chapel Street driveway. Guild Room (Meeting Room)
Our second-floor meeting space. Perfect for book clubs, NA or AA meetings, condo associations, etc. This is also where our children's Sunday School meets each week, so if you are holding a larger public event in the parish hall or sanctuary and plan to provide childcare, this could be a perfect additional space to use! Monday - Friday 4pm: $30/hr Friday 4pm - Sunday: $50/hr Add-on to an existing, larger event: $25/hr Additional information: - These pictures show the room configured for dual use: Large meetings and Sunday School. The configuration can change, allowing more space for either. (Chairs can also be removed from the room for smaller meetings or more floor space.) - Use of Guest WiFi is included for your event. Music Rehearsals
Either the sanctuary or the music office -- including their pianos -- may be available to rent for music rehearsals or to use for offering private lessons. Please inquire as we determine what these rates will be, via [email protected] or (203) 562-2143.

Commercial Kitchen
Our downstairs commercial kitchen is available to rent independently from the rest of the undercroft. The range is brand new, installed in spring 2025. Perfect for caterers or food trucks that need a large prep space! Generally, the kitchen is available after 10 a.m. M-F, and after 12 p.m. weekends. Renters must clean up after their use. Office Space
For individuals or nonprofits looking for an ongoing professional arrangement, St. PJ’s currently has three areas available for office use. Access to a small kitchenette and utilities – including newly upgraded high-speed WiFi – are included.

Private Office
A lovely, spacious private office is available on our second floor for $750/month. You can use the furniture currently provided, or supply your own. The room can open up to overlook the parish hall, or close off and feel like the most private space in the building. (Our priest used this office for his last position, and loved it!)
Newly upgraded high-speed WiFi and use of a small kitchenette in the same hallway are included. Use of stairs required.
Be warned: You’ll smell those delicious New Haven pizza ovens at the landmark Sally’s Apizza right outside your window, and it can get tempting to eat out way too often...

Perfect for a non-profit with a small staff: This two-room, open-air balcony space overlooks our parish hall. It is currently very sparsely furnished, and you would be welcome to bring your own furniture. Inquire for further details depending on use needs. Use of high-speed WiFi and kitchenette included. In the past, non-profits have rented our undercroft and accompanying storage space on M-F afternoons in order to provide social services to the public on an ongoing basis for approximately $3,500/month. If your organization is looking for a similar arrangement for a large open space, please reach out for a tour and a discussion! We can include private storage space. (Additional photos of the undercroft are above, in the single-use event section.)
The newly renovated wooden floor also makes this a great spot for a dance or yoga studio -- please inquire about your specific needs.
